Celebrate July 4th in Ranchester. At the Ranchester Town Hall Park & Event Hall there will be July 4 celebrations including a wife carrying competition beginning at 3 p.m.; live music; food and beer trucks; a basket raffle; cotton candy; and a bounce house. To register for the wife carrying competition, visit the Ranchester Town Hall before 2:45 p.m. on July 4. At dusk, there will be a fireworks display at Tongue River Middle School located at 1127 Dayton St. The Ranchester Town Hall Park & Event Hall is located at 145 Coffeen St.
