The Sheridan County Suicide Prevention Coalition invites you to join Hope & Healing. This confidential drop-in support group offers those bereaved by suicide with the opportunity to work toward recovery in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Eagle Riders of Big Horn Mountain Fraternal Order of Eagles #4169 is honoring one of their own with a benefit Poker Run event Saturday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at the Big Horn Mountain Aerie, located at 1760 Commercial Lane in Sheridan.
The event is open to the public at a cost of $20 for the initial hand and $10 for each additional hand. The blessing of the bikes will take place at 10 a.m. with bikes leaving the Aerie shortly after.
Following the ride, the Big Horn Mountain Ladies’ Auxiliary will host an authentic Mexican dinner until 8 p.m. Dinner is $15 and includes smothered green chili burritos or red chili enchiladas with your choice of chicken or beef. Meals include Spanish rice, tamales, chips and salsa, guacamole and pico de gallo.
The Big Horn Mountain Eagles has maintained a presence in the Sheridan community since 1987 and currently hosts nearly 400 Aerie and Auxiliary members.

Photoshop is a great program, but sometimes you just want a few simple tools at your disposal to be able to crop, adjust exposure, turn color into black and white, and make different sizes. Dr. Steve Roberts, veterinary ophthalmologist (specialist) from Animal Eye Center in Loveland, CO, will be doing CERF eye exams and other basic eye exams at the Dog & Cat Shelter. CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) is a centralized, national registry of dogs certified free of heritable eye disease by members of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Anyone who has dogs they'd like to have examined should call the Eye Center to make an appointment: 970-461-0909. Do not call us; we're just providing the conference room. If you want to CERF your canine breeding stock, you need to fax Animal Eye Center a copy of the registration certificate(s) when you make the appointment. The CERF exams take about 15 minutes. If your dog or cat needs another kind of basic eye exam, be sure to let them know the details when you make your appointment to be sure Dr. Roberts has the necessary equipment with him. Previous clinics filled early, so you shouldn't delay calling the Animal Eye Center to make an appointment.

The annual horse drive, through Sheridan, as Eatons’ Ranch drives its horses from their winter pastures to their summer home at Eatons’ Ranch. The horses will be coming into town on E. 5th Street (past the Visitor’s Center) and continuing west on 5th St., past the Historic Sheridan Inn, the hospital, the fairgrounds…. Pick your best viewing place, but one great choice would be from the veranda of the Historic Sheridan Inn. The times are approximate (and also subject to good weather), but we’d suggest being at your viewing place before 9:00 “in case”. And, of course, bring your camera. The Sheridan County Suicide Prevention Coalition invites you to join Hope & Healing. This confidential drop-in support group offers those bereaved by suicide with the opportunity to work toward recovery in a safe and nurturing environment.
